How to play One Line online

  1. Choose a green-ringed starting peg.
  2. Follow a rope to its next peg, continuing from the last peg you reached.
  3. Trace every rope once to unlock the next challenge.

Controls

Tap successive connected pegs or drag through them. You may lift your finger between moves; the route still continues from the last peg. Previous and Next select a peg, and Choose peg visits it. Undo stroke reverses the last tap or drag. A cancelled or off-board stroke restores the earlier route.

A tip before you start

Before leaving a branch, check whether the remaining ropes can still be reached. If a move strands a loop elsewhere, undo that stroke and take the loop before continuing.

A one line puzzle game with growing branches

The twenty original graphs increase from four edges to twenty-three. Branching pegs increase in stages, and every starting graph has a verified complete route. The hint allowance decreases at every level, from twenty to one.

Hints check the route that remains

Hint takes one step along a finishing route when one still exists from your current peg. If an earlier choice has stranded the remaining ropes, it explains that you need to undo. It does not silently clear your earlier path.

Frequently asked questions

Can I play this one line game online free?

Yes. All twenty challenges are free with no ads and no download.

Do I have to keep my finger down for the entire puzzle?

No. You can tap or drag in several strokes, as long as each move continues the same route from its current endpoint.

Can I go through the same peg twice?

Yes. Pegs may be revisited. The restriction applies to ropes: do not trace an edge twice.

How is progress saved?

Unlocked challenges, best scores and sound settings are saved in this browser when local storage is available. An unfinished board resets after a reload. Restart asks for confirmation and keeps your unlocked challenges.

Can I play on a phone or computer?

Use touch or a mouse, or focus the labeled action buttons with a keyboard. The board fits its game window and switches to a portrait layout on phones. Help opens in its own dialog, and full screen is available where supported.
