How to play Cricket Darts online

  1. Choose a CPU match or a catch-up challenge. The seven targets are 20, 19, 18, 17, 16, 15 and bull. You can aim at them in any order.
  2. Tap or drag to aim. Start sight begins movement, Lock X fixes the horizontal position, and Throw fixes the vertical position and releases one dart.
  3. Three marks close a target for you. Extra marks score until your opponent closes it too. Close all seven targets and reach equal or higher points to win immediately.

Controls

Tap or drag on the board, or use arrow buttons and arrow keys. S starts the sight, X locks horizontally, and T throws. Escape cancels before release, H gives an aim hint, and U or Ctrl+Z undoes. The mark table stays beside or below the board. Score & rules opens the detailed throw log; help, pause, sound, restart and fullscreen controls are available.

A tip before you start

Look at both columns before choosing a target. A number you have closed while the opponent has fewer than three marks can still earn points. A number closed by both players cannot. When behind, closing your final target may leave you needing another scoring throw, so compare your deficit with the available point values.

Cricket darts rules: marks, points and closing

This version uses American points Cricket. Singles count as one mark, doubles as two and triples as three. Three marks close that target for you, and the table caps its display at 3/3. The outer bull counts as one mark and the inner bull as two. Numbers below 15 do not make marks or score points. You can combine marks across turns and choose targets in any order.

Extra marks can score on the closing dart

First use a hit's marks to reach three on that target. Any remainder earns the target value per mark if the opponent still has fewer than three there. With two marks already on 20, a triple 20 closes it and scores 40. With no marks on 20, that same triple only closes it. If the opponent has already closed 20, neither throw earns points. Extra bull marks are worth 25 each, so an inner bull can add 50 when your bull is closed and theirs is open.

Why closing first is not always enough

You win as soon as all seven of your targets are closed and your score equals or exceeds the opponent's. The match can end on the first or second dart of a turn; the rival does not get another reply. If you close everything while behind, continue scoring on targets the opponent has not closed. Equal points are enough to win when you finish closing. A higher total without all seven targets closed is not a win.

A complete match with a computer opponent

Both players begin with zero marks and zero points. You throw first, and a normal turn lasts three darts. After your turn the CPU makes real scored throws, using the public mark table and seeded aiming error. It favors closing targets, or scoring on a target it owns when behind. The full match has no practice dart limit. It ends when one player meets both closing and score conditions, rather than after a fixed round count.

Twenty catch-up challenges

Challenges begin at reachable match positions. You have one to five targets left to close and trail by 60 to 300 points. The practice rival deliberately passes; it does not compete like the full-match CPU. Close your remaining targets and recover the deficit within six to fourteen of your own darts. Later groups require more closing and scoring, while the moving sight becomes faster at every level. Two optional hints suggest an aim point, but you still time both locks.

A playable board with an always-visible mark table

This is simulated throwing on an illustrated board. Your two sight locks set the impact, with no added hidden player spread. Cancel before releasing a dart to keep it. The table shows both players' marks, and green target labels identify places where you can earn extra points. Pause or Help stops the sight. The interface supports mouse, touch and keyboard; it does not read scores from a physical dartboard or camera.

The declared rule profile

This game awards points to the player who hits an available scoring target. It does not use cut-throat scoring, where points go to opponents, or no-score Cricket. It also differs from English Cricket with wickets and from the bat-and-ball sport. The human starts without a bull-off, and equal points satisfy the winning condition. There is no cash play or remote multiplayer.

Undo and saved progress

Undo restores your throw, any following CPU replies, the clock and the same CPU random stream. Spent challenge hints stay spent. Restart repeats a seed after confirmation; New match chooses another seed, and mode changes require confirmation. Unlocks, best challenge totals and sound preferences save on this device when storage is available. Reloading starts a fresh challenge or match instead of continuing an unfinished throw.

Frequently asked questions

Does a triple close a number immediately?

Yes, a triple gives three marks. If you had no marks there, it closes the target without extra points. Existing marks can leave surplus marks that score while the opponent's target remains open.

Can I score on a number that both players closed?

No. Once both columns show 3/3, further hits on that target do nothing.

Is equal score enough to win?

Yes. In this version, closing all seven targets while level on points wins immediately. You do not need to take a point lead.

Do I have to throw all three darts after winning?

No. The winning dart ends the match and later throws are rejected. Three darts are required only when the game is still in progress.

Why did I close all my numbers without winning?

Your total was still below the opponent's. Score on a target you own that they have not yet closed until you reach or pass their total.

Does the practice rival play normally?

No. It passes so you can solve the stated finish within a dart budget. Choose CPU match for an opponent that aims, closes targets and scores.
