A tip before you start

Treat a reserve card as a future connector. Playing it to the foundation may be legal, but placing it in a column first could create the opposite-color landing you need to uncover another low card.

Nine stepped columns and seven open reserves

The tableau begins with one card in the first column, two in the second, and so on through nine in the last. The remaining seven cards sit in separate reserve spots. All fifty-two cards are visible. Any occupied reserve spot is available immediately; there is no stock or redeal.

Reserve spaces are not reusable cells

A reserve card may go to a legal column or its suit foundation. Once that reserve space is empty, it stays empty. You cannot park another card there, including a card returning from a foundation. Planning with seven reserves is therefore different from repeatedly filling and emptying FreeCell-style cells.

Build alternating colors through individual moves

Columns descend one rank at a time in alternating colors. Any card can fill an empty column. This interface moves a single exposed card per action, so sequences must be rebuilt through legal individual steps. An empty column can serve as temporary storage, but an empty reserve spot cannot.

Foundation returns can reconnect a path

The foundations build from Ace to King in the same suit. This edition allows a foundation top to return to a column if it follows the normal destination rule. For example, returning a red card may supply a landing for a black card one rank lower. That flexibility costs a move and leaves the foundation to rebuild later; it is not a way to refill the reserves.

Twenty original reserve-planning practices

The course grows from eight to forty-six cards outside partly completed foundations. Early positions use one occupied reserve, while later positions use all seven. Every start needs column rearrangement. Each constructed practice has a verified finish, but these are original teaching positions rather than claimed snapshots from random games or a minimum-difficulty proof.

Use a hint without surrendering the choice

A practice offers up to three hints. Each hint verifies a complete continuation, then selects one move for you to confirm. If the search reaches its budget, the result is unknown and no hint is charged. A suggested route is not a claim that other moves lose. Full-game hints offer legal moves only; shuffled games are not guaranteed solvable.

Play at your own pace

Play free online with no ads, download, account or timer. Undo preserves the number of hints already used. Restart and mode changes ask before replacing the active board. Unlocked practices, the active game and sound settings save on this device when browser storage is available. Pile details keeps the full card order readable when long columns are compressed.

Frequently asked questions

Can I select any reserve card?

Yes. All seven reserve positions are independently available when occupied.

Can I reuse an emptied reserve?

No. It is not a reusable cell. Move reserve cards to a column or foundation and leave the vacated space empty.

Can a foundation top return?

Yes, to a column where it is legal. It cannot enter a reserve.

Does the game move sequences automatically?

No. This edition uses single-card controls; reconstruct sequences through legal individual moves.

Are all shuffled games winnable?

No guarantee is made for shuffled full games. The twenty constructed starting practices have verified finishing routes.

Does the game save my progress?

It saves locally when browser storage is available. If storage is blocked, you can continue the session without a persistent save.
