Play Garden Easthaven Online
Play Easthaven Solitaire at an illustrated harbor garden table. Seven columns share a single stock, so dealing changes several piles at once. Garden Easthaven offers full single-deck games and twenty original practice positions about revealing low cards, rebuilding alternating-color runs and timing the next row.
How to play Garden Easthaven online
- Choose a shuffled full game, a repeatable fixed deck or an unlocked practice.
- Build each suit foundation upward from Ace to King.
- Build columns downward in alternating colors, moving an ordered face-up run when it fits.
- Use Deal row to place one face-up card on each column from left to right. The final short row reaches only the first columns.
- Move all 52 cards onto the foundations. The stock has one pass and no redeal.
Controls
Tap a source column or foundation top, tap a destination and press Move. Cards + selects the length of an ordered face-up run. Press Deal row or tap the stock to deal. Arrow keys navigate sources and destinations; Enter selects, C changes the run size, P moves, D deals, H hints and U or Ctrl+Z undoes. Pile details lists the visible cards.
A tip before you start
A stock row can cover a useful exposed card in every column. Before dealing, look for a move that reveals a low card or creates an empty space. In this version an empty column accepts any card or ordered run, so a spare column can help untangle more than just Kings.
Seven columns share one stock
A full Easthaven Solitaire game begins with three cards in each of seven columns. The bottom two are face down and the top card is exposed. Thirty-one cards remain in the stock. The foundations begin empty, and there is no waste pile. Removing all exposed cards from a column turns its next hidden card face up automatically.
This version allows any card in an empty column
Columns descend by one rank and alternate between red and black. A 7 of Hearts can go on an 8 of Spades or Clubs. An ordered face-up sequence can travel together; an unordered tail cannot. Garden Easthaven uses the any-card empty-column rule, so a gap accepts any exposed card or valid run. Some other Easthaven versions restrict gaps to Kings. The rule here remains the same in full games and practices.
What Deal row changes
Dealing adds one card to column1, then column2, and so on, including any empty columns. A full starting stock gives four complete seven-card rows and a final three-card row. That last row goes only to columns1–3; it does not wrap or wait for more cards. You may deal while another legal move is available, but the fresh cards can cover cards you still need. There is no second stock pass.
Foundations can also release a card
The four foundations each keep one suit in Ace-to-King order. Their exposed top cards can return to the tableau if the normal destination rule permits it. A returned card moves alone. This can supply an intermediate rank for a column, but also lowers that foundation's progress, so compare the new options before making another move.
Twenty original practices, from eight to forty-six cards
The constructed course starts with partly built foundations and eight cards left. Later positions introduce hidden cards, stock rows and longer alternating-color runs, reaching forty-six remaining cards. Each starting practice has a verified route. These positions are teaching constructions, not claimed endgames from shuffled deals or a proof of minimum human difficulty. The course increases the amount of play and the mechanics to coordinate rather than merely changing a random seed.
Open study information and private full-game stock
Practice Pile details deliberately reveals hidden cards and the remaining stock order so you can study the whole position. Full-game details keep both hidden, and full-game hints use visible information only. Up to three practice hints verify a finishing route and select its next action for you to confirm; a search limit reports unknown without charging a hint. Random full games are not guaranteed solvable.
Undo a deal and resume later
Undo restores an entire row deal or one move, including any card that was automatically turned face up. Used hints stay charged. Restart and mode changes ask before replacing the board. The active game, unlocked practices and sound preference save on this device when storage is available. Play free online with no ads, account, timer or download.
Frequently asked questions
Is this ordinary Klondike?
No. Easthaven starts with seven columns of three cards and deals the stock directly across the tableau. This version allows any card in an empty column and has no waste pile or stock recycle.
Do empty columns have to be filled before dealing?
No. Deal row places a card into each column, including an empty one. This is part of the rule profile used here.
What happens to the last three stock cards?
They are dealt to columns1, 2 and 3 in that order. The remaining four columns receive no card in that partial row.
Can a whole sequence move?
Yes, if every moving card is face up and the sequence descends by rank in alternating colors. Cards + chooses the run length.
Why are hidden cards listed in a practice?
Practices are open-information teaching positions. Full games keep hidden card identities and the future stock order private.
Does every deal have a solution?
No. The twenty practice starts have verified solutions; shuffled full deals have no solvability guarantee.
