Garden Solitaire is a free solitaire game with no ads, using classic Klondike rules and a one-card draw. Build columns downward in alternating red and black, then move each suit from ace to king onto its foundation. Twenty selected deals each have a verified winning route.
Draw one stock card and use the top waste card when it fits.
Move face-up cards or ordered stacks onto a card one rank higher and of the opposite color. Only kings can fill empty columns.
Build each suit foundation from ace through king. Complete all four suits to unlock the next deal.
Controls
Tap a face-up card and its destination, or drag between them. Draw one turns over a stock card; Recycle returns the waste when the stock is empty, with no pass limit. Previous, Next and Choose select cards through buttons. To suit moves a selected single card to its foundation when legal.
A tip before you start
Try to uncover face-down cards before moving stacks that reveal nothing. An empty column is useful when a king can move into it, so plan around the cards you can expose next.
Twenty solvable deals with fewer hints
The deal sequence increases the effort of its recorded winning route, measured by stock draws and moves between tableau columns. This is a design measure, not a claim that the route is shortest or that everyone finds the deals equally difficult. The hint allowance decreases at every level, from twenty to one.
Undo and route guidance
Undo reverses the last action, including stock draws and recycling. Hint shows the next action on the recorded route when your current position is on it; after a different move, it tries a bounded search. Play hint applies the suggested action. If the search finds no route within its limit, you can undo or restart.
Frequently asked questions
How do I set up a solitaire game?
For this Klondike game, use a standard 52-card deck and make seven columns containing one through seven cards. Only the top card of each column starts face up. The remaining 24 cards form the face-down stock; leave the waste and four suit foundations empty. Garden Solitaire deals this layout for you and turns over one stock card at a time.
Is this solitaire game with no ads free to play?
Yes. Every deal is free in your browser, with no ads and no app installation.
Is this draw-three or another solitaire variation?
This version is draw-one Klondike with seven tableau columns and four suit foundations. It does not use FreeCell or Pyramid rules.
Can every possible move sequence still win?
Every starting deal has a verified solution, but your choices can lead away from it. A hint search reaching its limit does not prove the current position impossible.
How is progress saved?
Unlocked challenges, best scores and the sound setting are saved in this browser when local storage is available. An unfinished board resets after a reload. Restart asks for confirmation and keeps unlocked challenges.
Can I play on my phone or computer?
Use touch or a mouse, or focus the labeled action buttons with a keyboard. The game fits its available window and switches to a portrait layout on phones. Help opens in a separate dialog. Full screen is available where supported.
