How to play Garden TriPeaks online

  1. Choose an uncovered card one rank above or below the discard. A king can follow an ace, and an ace can follow a king.
  2. If you need a different discard, draw the next card from the stock. There is one pass through the stock, with no reshuffle.
  3. Remove all 28 cards from the three peaks to finish the deal and unlock the next one. You do not have to use every stock card.

Controls

Tap or click an available card, or select it with Previous and Next and press Take card. Draw one turns over the next stock card. Undo restores your last action. Hint outlines a suggested card or stock draw; Play hint makes that move only when you choose it.

A tip before you start

Before drawing, look at which available card uncovers the most useful choices. A long run can save stock cards, but clearing one peak too quickly may leave the other two difficult to connect.

A full deck and three peaks

Each deal uses 52 different playing cards: 28 in the three overlapping peaks, 23 in the stock and one starting discard. Only cards with nothing covering them can move. Clearing the cards underneath opens the next row.

Twenty deals to work through

The starting deals each have a checked winning route and are ordered by increasing search difficulty. Later challenges also give you fewer hints, from twenty in the first deal to one in the last. A legal move can still lead away from a finish, so use Undo when your sequence leaves cards stranded.

When the stock runs out

An empty stock does not end a deal if you can still play an uncovered card. If no available card matches and no stock remains, undo an earlier action or restart the same deal. There is no timer, and you do not need to rush your choice.

Frequently asked questions

Can I play this Tri Peaks solitaire card game free?

Yes. You can play Tri Peaks solitaire games for free here across all twenty Garden TriPeaks deals, with no ads or download.

How is TriPeaks different from classic solitaire?

TriPeaks removes cards by adjacent rank, regardless of suit or color. Classic Klondike builds alternating-color columns and four suit foundations. This game uses the three-peak layout and the adjacent-rank rule.

Can I play a king on an ace?

Yes. Aces connect to both kings and twos in this version. A king connects to a queen or an ace.

How do hints work?

Each Hint request uses one hint, including a request that finds no route or reaches its search limit. A successful hint outlines a move; play it yourself or press Play hint. Undo does not restore spent hints. Later deals allow fewer requests, from twenty at level one to one at level twenty.

Will my unfinished deal be saved?

Unlocked deals, best scores and your sound setting are saved in this browser when local storage is available. The current card layout is not saved: reloading opens deal one, and you can choose any unlocked deal from the level menu. Restart asks for confirmation and keeps your unlocked deals.

Can I use a phone or computer?

Use touch or a mouse. The game window scales to keep the board, status and main controls together. Help opens separately, and full screen is available where your browser supports it.
